Apologies to Walliams
In Pandora on 16 November it was implied that David Walliams was rude and
dismissive to a "partygoer" at a charity event for the Elton John Aids
Foundation.
We wish to clarify that the "partygoer" concerned was one of our diary
reporters.
Mr Walliams told the reporter that he was at the event as a guest and was
not giving interviews that evening. Furthermore, it was not our intention to
imply that that Mr Walliams' behaviour was rude or conceited, and we accept
that Mr Walliams, spoke to and posed for photographs with paparazzi and
members of the public when requested.

clips, I have just come across a new clip from YouTube with
Walliams chatting to Jimmy Carr about Bond, James Bond (My Life with
James Bond).
Walliams to play role of Frankie Howard
Walliams chats to Steve Wright: “The thing that I’ll be doing in
January is a drama about the life of Frankie Howard, and I’m playing Frankie
Howard. It’s for BBC4 and I guess it will be repeated on BBC2. He’s a
legend, isn’t he? It’s quite a challenge playing a real person, but I’m a
genuine, genuine fan of his. I wrote to him, got his autograph when I was a
kid, I went to see him many times, and met him once, so I’m chuffed about
that.”

08/12/2007 - Dawn interviews Lucas
He is one of the funniest men in Britain. But Matt Lucas' first attempts at
comedy went down like a lead balloon. When he was just six years old, the
Little Britain comedian made audio tapes of himself performing impressions
and silly songs.
"I remember clearly thinking how funny I was!" grins Matt. "But I listened
to one of the tapes the other day and I heard a relative saying in the
background, 'Oh, he's just showing off. "Even now, as an adult, I feel
deflated".
Matt is one of several successful male comics who are interviewed by host
Dawn French in this revealing new three-part series.
And the Vicar of Dibley star Dawn is no stranger to working with Matt. The
comedienne memorably played teenage chav Vicky Pollard's mum Shelby in last
year's Little Britain Abroad Christmas special. Source: The Sun's TV
