David Walliams and Quentin Blake are the odd couple "David Walliams, comedian, actor, cross-Channel swimmer, and now writer of children's books, folds his 6ft 3in frame into a tiny chair in the foyer of the National Theatre, opposite illustrator Quentin Blake. Walliams is wearing a bold tweed suit and unapologetically carrying a manbag. Blake, 77, has on a slightly scruffy navy jacket and the trademark white leather shoes that Roald Dahl teasingly referred to as “Quent's old plimsolls”. Frankly, there is an air of very polite and very British eccentricity about them both." Full story...

David Walliams last night apologised for humiliating Mark Ronson - after he ripped the super-producer's kecks down in front of 3,000 people. David said: "Mark is a cool, calm character.
